WWE Raw: 10 Things You Might Have Missed (April 14th)
6. Guns 'N' Gallows
The most surprising part of Raw came just after The Usos beat The Social Outcasts to advance in the WWE Tag Team Championship number one contenders tournament. No sooner had The Usos won than they were attacked by Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows, the former Bullet Club members and three-time IWGP Tag Team Champions.
There were a few details dropped by announcers during the segment that may offer some clues as to how Gallows and Anderson will be treated. Anderson kept his "Karl Anderson" name, while Gallows was called "Luke Gallows," the name he used in WWE as part of CM Punk's Straight Edge Society. Nevertheless, his previous tenure with the company was not mentioned, and the announcers never said that he had returned or come back.
Also, Michael Cole confirmed that the duo's finishing move (an elevated swinging neckbreaker they used on one of The Usos) is still called the "Magic Killer." After the break, Cole recapped the segment and mentioned both New Japan and those three IWGP Tag Title reigns.
