Is Shane doomed?

To say that Monday's Raw was newsworthy is an understatement. After seven years' absence, Shane McMahon returned to WWE Raw, heading straight into a feud with his father and sister. After alluding to the fact that he's holding something over Vince's head, Shane demanded control of Raw. In response, Vince issued a challenge to Shane - he would give him Raw if the younger McMahon could defeat The Undertaker... at WrestleMania... in a Hell in a Cell match. Regardless of one's feelings on Shane waltzing into a top-level match at WrestleMania (my use of the word "waltzing" probably lets you know where I stand), his return spiked Raw ratings and drove Internet discussion like few things in recent wrestling history. When taken in concert with Triple H's attack on Roman Reigns and the announcement of a Brock Lesnar-Dean Ambrose WrestleMania bout, it's clear that things are getting interesting. Once again, though, it was clear that there was a lot to be gleaned from reading between the lines. From missing superstars to a change in public opinion, from bad friends to telegraphed results, sometimes what you don't see on Raw is just as newsworthy as what's obvious.
