Every week, WWE takes a few moments out of Monday Night Raw to hype up the following episode of Smackdown! Usually, the pitch revolves around a main event match built up by a confrontation on Raw, plus sometimes an appearance from a star that promises to somehow further storylines. It may not be much, but it puts the B-show over just a little bit. This week, it was clear that WWE's writers put most of their thoughts into Raw. The only thing hyped for Smackdown! was an appearance from WWE World Heavyweight Champion Triple H. As the announcers explained it, the champion would appear on the show for the first time since finding out who would challenge him at WrestleMania. That's a bit misleading, of course - Triple H only found out he was wrestling Reigns the night before. He hardly had time to address it on any edition of Smackdown!, being as how one hadn't happened yet.
