Exactly what makes a wrestler able to call himself a 'Grand Slam Champion' in WWE has changed over the years. Previously, winning the WWF Heavyweight, Intercontinental and Tag-Team Titles would give a performer that right. Naturally, there are more variables in play now, meaning the company presents more championships.

Even with all those extra belts, Chris Jericho created history on Monday Night Raw. Pinning Roman Reigns to become the new WWE United States Champ, Jericho bagged the belt for the very first time in his career. Reading the list of titles Y2J has held is almost embarrassing, there isn't much he hasn't won in the WWF/WWE.

Analysing the current format of WWE World, Intercontinental, United States and Tag-Team Title wins, Jericho joins the likes of Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, Edge, The Big Show, The Miz and Daniel Bryan in achieving such a haul.

It's perhaps more surprising that Chris Jericho hadn't won the US Title until 2017, if anything. Now, he's a true Grand Slam winner in the promotion, holding everything barring titles he's not eligible for (such as the Women's Title).
