Admittedly, this one was referenced a few times on Raw, but that doesn't necessarily mean everyone was paying full attention. During his promo at the start of the program, John Cena said that June 27 marked 14 full years since he had first worked a match inside a WWE ring.

Later in the show, Michael Cole reiterated this information as Cena geared up for a bout against Seth Rollins. This was absolute fact, Raw did fall 14 years to the day after John Cena's very first WWE match against Kurt Angle. On that occasion, he wrestled on SmackDown, not Monday Night Raw.

14 years is an incredible length of tenure, especially for a product that moves as quickly as WWE's does. Adding further weight to proceedings, Cole stated that The Undertaker had been impressed by Cena's performance against Angle, sufficiently moved enough to approach him backstage.

All those years on, Cena lost to Seth Rollins, but was able to further his rivalry with The Club and AJ Styles. A rematch from Money In The Bank will surely happen at Battleground.
