With WWE desperately trying to find a replacement for Drew McIntyre in the main event of tonight’s episode of Raw, it looks like Triple H may be gearing up to step into the Scottish Psychopath’s shoes.

It was earlier announced by WWE that the Game would opening Raw to address the events of last week’s red brand outing, and those opening minutes saw Hunter butting heads with Randy Orton.

Triple H would lambast Orton for his treatment of Big Show, Mark Henry and Ric Flair last Monday, calling the Viper a “prick” in the process. While the King of Kings would reject Orton’s offer of the pair having a match later in the night, Randal Keith’s goading of Triple H’s balls being in his wife Stephanie’s purse was enough to cause the NXT head to deck his Evolution running buddy with a stiff right hand.

As a smirking Randy Orton headed back up the ramp, the Raw announce team reiterated how Triple H had not specifically accepted Orton’s challenge – although all signals point to these long-time foes reigniting their rivalry one more time in Raw’s main event later tonight.

Previously, Randy was due to face WWE Champion Drew McIntyre in a non-title match to close out this week’s Raw. That was until it was announced that McIntyre was now quarantining after testing positive for COVID-19 – with WWE subsequently weighing up which big-name talent would top Drew's spot in that match.
