WWE Raw: Ranking All 10 New Roster Additions From Worst To Best
8. Mickie James
Bringing back Mickie James was a brilliant decision on WWE's behalf. The talented veteran can still go with any and all styles of workers, and a wrestler with her level of experience can serve as a player-coach for the much younger ladies on the roster.
After a brief cup of coffee to put over Asuka in NXT, James was called up to SmackDown to thicken up the women's roster a bit, adding some much-needed character work to go along with her considerable ring skills. She's someone WWE can always depend on for a solid match, and she has proven through the years to be a charismatic performer capable of getting over just on her personality alone.
While SmackDown had the advantage in terms of sheer numbers, Raw has the more top heavy women's roster. Adding both Mickie and Alexa Bliss to Raw gives them some much-needed depth - despite the fact that the red brand will undoubtedly be surrendering at least one of their main talents to make up for the additions - and helps solve the problem of the shallowness of the division.
While she's probably never going to have another title run in her WWE career, Mickie James is a solid worker who WWE can count on to play any role asked of her and handle her end of a match with every single lady they could possibly book her against.
A real asset to either show.
