Pro Wrestling Sheet has today confirmed that Uriel Ealy, one half of NXT twin-tandem The Ealy Brothers, has been released from the developmental crew.

Apparently, Uriel was offloaded by the company last week. It's rather unusual that just one of the two identical twins has been let go, but as of yet there are no concrete details pointing towards a reason for the cut.

The Milwaukee-born siblings signed with WWE back in 2015. They made their debut in a 6-man tag the following May alongside Angelo Dawkins, opposite Rich Swann, Kenneth Crawford (Montez Ford), and Patrick Clark - the future Velveteen Dream. They lost.

Uriel's last appearance for the yellow-and-black brand came in a defeat to Riddick Moss at a house show in Crystal River, FL. It was his 20th defeat in a row, either solo or alongside brother Gabriel.

Check back for more details as they emerge.

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
