WWE Road To Wrestlemania 29: Shawn Michaels Returns, Final Match Predictions

The Undertaker vs CM Punk (with Paul Heyman)

Wrestlemania 29 The Undertaker The only one of the big three feuds to see any physical action this week, CM Punk continued to use Paul Bearer's recent death to antagonise The Undertaker. In a backstage interview segment, Punk told Matt Striker he doesn't give a damn about insulting Bearer's memory. He went one step further to prove it by saying Taker is more worried about Paul Bearer's streak of waking up every morning and that's now over. Ouch. Closing out Raw was The Undertaker in the ring. He said that the pain coming to Punk at Wrestlemania would last an eternity, and that it was Punk who made it personal, for which he will suffer. He said the disrespect Punk has shown Paul Bearer will cost Punk the ultimate price, and that even if Punk does end The Streak, he will not be around to talk about it. The lights went out, taking Taker off guard, and out came druids with torches. Then, with an uncanny likeness, Paul Bearer's famous "Ooooooh, Yeeeeeees" rang out, and out came Paul Heyman, looking unbelievably like Bearer himself. Seriously, it was creepy as sin, and there was a definite awkward moment when the live crowd either didn't know how to react, or genuinely thought it was Paul Bearer. Taker headed up the ramp after Heyman, but before he could Punk revealed himself as one of the druids and attacked. Punk beat him down with the urn, repeatedly yelling its over, and brilliantly calling Taker 'Hocus Pocus'. Amazingly the crowd were pretty evenly split in their chants, and there are still many fans who will be in CM Punk's corner whatever he does. Punk tested that even further when he then opened up the urn and threw the ashes in The Undertaker's face. Raw went off the air with Punk rubbing the ashes on his chest and holding the urn in the air. Considering how badly it started, this feud has now been booked quite brilliantly. Yes, much of that has been down to the sad and untimely passing of Paul Bearer, but the end result is that people are engaged and excited to see CM Punk try to end The Undertaker's streak. CM Punk has been on top throughout the build-up, and is well and truly under Taker's skin. We haven't seen Taker psychologically exposed or rattled in any of the build-ups to his recent Wrestlemania matches, and it at least raises the prospect that he has met his match in CM Punk. Could this actually be the year that The Streak is broken? Prediction: CM Punk has been one step ahead of The Undertaker throughout the build-up to their match, and he has got in the Phenom's head. But with Paul Bearer's memory on the line, expect The Undertaker to battle out of whatever Punk throws at him and come out with the win, taking his streak to 21 - 0.
