WWE Royal Rumble: 10 Most Criminally Overlooked Matches

1. The Undertaker Vs. Rey Mysterio - 2010

Rey Mysterio and The Undertaker - now there's two contrasting wrestlers with very different styles. Oftentimes, that can be a recipe for disaster, creating an 'oil and water' situation. Thankfully, Rey and 'Taker are two absolute pros who know exactly what they're doing, which meant that their World Heavyweight Title match at the 2010 surpassed expectations. Capitalising on the size difference, the two worked an excellent speed versus power match. It was a very 'Vaderish' performance from 'Taker, who kept swatting away the much faster Mysterio, who did his best impression of early 90s Sting. The two expertly teased some big moves in the early going, with Rey countering a Chokeslam into a hurricanrana, only for The Phenom to turn Mysterio's 619 attempt into a Tombstone situation. Rey escaped, but it would be the story of the match - Mysterio using his agility to escape and mount offense, only for the surly Undertaker to come back and knock him down with strikes and power moves. After a couple of 619s finally managed to rock the Deadman, Rey looked to have it sewn up with a West Coast Pop - until he was caught in mid-air and almost sent through the canvas with a Last Ride. Mysterio came close, but he just wasn't able to win on the night. Undertaker, meanwhile, proved himself to be a dominant, scary force and sent a message to anyone that was thinking about testing him out. Which other underrated Rumble matches belong on this list?
