WWE Royal Rumble 2018: 10 Worst Possible Outcomes
7. The Triple Threat Becomes A Singles Match

Braun Strowman's rise to prominence was one of the best parts of WWE's 2017. The 'Monster Among Men' is a genuine fresh face, fits the bill as someone Vince McMahon can lust over and has bonded with both hardcore and casual fans. There's nothing about Braun that suggests he can't continue to thrive, and he should have an even better 2018.
That is unless Raw's writers decide he doesn't need to be involved much in the Universal Title Triple Threat match at the Rumble. Remember that injury angle WWE penned for Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam? It could come back out in force for Strowman, providing an explanation for his absence from much of the match or possibly it's conclusion.
Thousands would be left angry at this, there's no getting away from that. If WWE were silly enough to turn the Triple Threat into a singles match between Kane and Lesnar, they'd deserve the resultant flak. This won't happen, because it can't happen. Can it?
