An NXT star appearing in the Royal Rumble isn't a given, but it's a safe bet. The developmental brand have sent a representative in four of the past five years, and after Tye Dillinger's crowd-pleasing entrance at number 10 last year, they'll likely opt for a more brutish option in 2018.

Lars Sullivan is the man for the job. Big, bad, and ugly, he looks like a classic wrestling monster, but has fast become a fully three-dimensional performer. His ring work is strong, and he brings a surprising level of charisma to the table. There's no guarantee he'll catch on to the same extent as Braun Strowman, but he's already on that trajectory, and looks primed and ready for a main roster spot, even at this early stage in his career.

At the time of writing, WWE have nothing planned for Sullivan at TakeOver: Philadelphia. It seems inconceivable that he'll go the whole weekend without making a mark, so get ready to see him on Sunday.
