WWE Royal Rumble 2025: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See

1. Big E

No Rumble return would mean more than this one.

Big E's in-ring career was cut short by an unfortunate neck injury in 2022. It wasn't long before news spread that the popular New Day man's hopes of ever returning were rather slim. His injuries were so severe that retirement seemed to be his only option. Is...is that still the case? That's up for debate, but only E himself truly knows how much of a risk he'd be taking by wrestling again.

WWE kept E around as a panel analyst for major events, but he also popped back up on TV to help further a heel turn for old pals Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Both severed ties with E in a brutal onscreen burial, which leads many to believe there's some good old fashioned babyface revenge coming eventually. The Rumble might come too soon for that. However, it's worth savouring the thought of a tear-jerking welcome Big E would get if he was one of the 30 this February.

People would lose their minds all over the planet, man. Rightly so too, because E donning the singlet and hitting a Big Ending again once seemed like an impossible dream. If it's realistic and he wouldn't be jeopardising his health long term, then it'd be real cool to see E live this moment in front of fans who love him.

Eliminating either Kofi or Xavier (or both) would be the cherry on top. Then, if it wasn't pushing it, perhaps E could wrestle one of them at 'Mania. Let's wait and see, eh?
