WWE Royal Rumble 2025: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See

By all accounts, this can't happen. The Rock confused hardcore fans who tune into WWE Raw religiously by pandering to 2024 enemy Cody Rhodes like they've been famous friends all along. Further, 'The Great One' appeared in his 'Final Boss' attire without actually acting like he was going to be anyone's biggest hurdle. It was as 'Mania guest host a performance as you'll ever see.

Bob Barker chewed through more storyline aggro back in 2009 when he was literally hosting.

So, Dave Meltzer says Rocky won't be doing anything at WrestleMania this year. Fair, but that isn't 100% confirmed. There's still a chance Rock will change his mind and clue WWE in last-minute. That might not be enough for a main event match in April, but yeah - plans change. Also, what if this is all deliberate diversion and big Dwayne shows up in Indianapolis for the Royal Rumble?

That'd make some folks online look foolish, no doubt, and there has been gossip about WWE possibly reworking the Rumble to include 31 entrants just so Rocky can flex his managerial muscles and book his way to the top like this is the NWA in the mid-1980s and his name is Dusty Rhodes. Don't rule anything of the sort out.

Look, this probably won't happen, but it could. That's the key word here. "Surprise Entrants We Could See". The Rock even teased there's more to come during a super rare appearance on NXT following that baffling Raw characterisation on Netflix earlier in the week. What if he's pulling the wool over everyone's eyes and shows up on 1 Feb?
