Aside from holding the record for the greatest ever No. 17 performance, Sheamus also boasts the greatest showing from a No. 11 entrant. The 2012 winner outlasted almost every other superstar a year later in 2013, with the exception of just two men.

The Great White entered the ring hitting anything that moved, eliminating Titus O'Neil, and David Otunga after Ten Beats of the Baron and a Brogue Kick, within a minute of sliding under the ropes. After helping four other men eliminate Brodus Clay, Sheamus dispatched of both Jinder Mahal, and No. 1 entrant Dolph Ziggler.

Over half an hour after entering the Rumble, Sheamus had made the final three for the second time in two years, facing Ryback and the eventual winner John Cena. Though he managed to hit Ryback with a White Noise, the No. 30 entrant reversed a Brogue Kick from Sheamus, throwing him over the ropes, ending The Celtic Warrior's hopes of becoming just the fourth man to win back to back Rumbles.
