WWE Royal Rumble: Best Performances From Every Entry Slot
10. Ted DiBiase - 2009
There has never been a Royal Rumble winner enter the match from the No. 10 position. The closest any superstar has come was in 2009, when Ted DiBiase, son of The Million Dollar Man, battled to finish fourth behind Cody Rhodes, Triple H, and Randy Orton.
Through a respectable 45 minutes in the ring, DiBiase, incredibly, eliminated no competitors on his own. The only elimination he had a hand in was sending Kane over the top rope with his Legacy team-mates, Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. After this there were six men left, and with The Legacy seemingly working together, they had the advantage over Triple H, The Undertaker, and The Big Show.
With Triple H and The Big Show going toe to toe, The Legacy isolated The Undertaker, but were soon on the receiving end of a Chokeslam each. While Rhodes, Orton, DiBiase, and Triple H were down, The Undertaker and The Big Show eliminated each other, gifting the rest a spot in the final four.
This left The Legacy in a three on one situation against The Game, yet the underdog managed to fight back, throwing DiBiase over the top to finish fourth, before Randy Orton ultimately won the match.
