Watch enough WWE and the same minor tropes begin to crop up time and time again. For example, anyone not given a full televised entrance on programming is likely to lose the match. It's almost dismissive from those in charge of planning the show, like those wrestlers aren't important enough to be shown walking to the ring.

That was the case for both The Usos and the team of Heath Slater and Rhyno on this week's SmackDown. Neither duo was given a full entrance on the broadcast, relegated to coming out during the commercial break.

When American Alpha made their way to the ring, both units were already inside waiting for the match to start. Not-so-coincidentally, The Usos and the former SmackDown Tag-Team Champs were the first to go from the elimination bout.

Slater and Rhyno fell first, eliminated by Jimmy and Jey Uso. Then, The Usos were vanquished by American Alpha. It's hard to believe this was an accident, as neither team was amongst the most important in the Tag-Team Title encounter.
