WWE Smackdown Spoilers: 7 Things You Need To Know (Nov 18th)

1. The Main Event Ended In A DQ With Team Authority Dominating

Ryback and Big Show, two members of Team Cena, were in a tag match against Seth Rollins and Kane of Team Authority. As usual, the match ended in a disqualification when members of Team Authority interfered to cost the babyfaces the match. It's the kind of booking that WWE does in a lot of tag team main event matches of late. When the match was over, Triple H came back out with the rest of Team Authority. They issued a massive beatdown on the Team Cena members that were there. As mentioned previously, John Cena wasn't there. The numbers game gave Team Authority the advantage. Hunter went after the Cena team members using a chair and he nailed Ryback with Pedigree to end it. Team Authority posed together to end the show. There's a popular theory regarding TV shows leading to PPVs. If somebody or some group has the advantage at the end of TV then that usually means they will be losing at the PPV. That theory looks like it will be true in this case because The Authority looked strong to end Smackdown and it would be a major shock if they were victorious at Survivor Series on Sunday. Survivor Series is this Sunday night live at 8pmET on WWE Network and selected pay-per-view providers.
