WWE Smackdown Spoilers Results (July 14)

Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns teamed up in the main event.

This week's Smackdown took place in Birmingham, Alabama and was the last show taped prior to this Sunday's WWE Battleground PPV. Here are the results of what happened. Bray Wyatt started the show with a promo talking about Battleground and his match with Roman Reigns. That's when Reigns appeared on the video wall to brag about how he beat up Wyatt all over Raw in Atlanta and he also mocked Wyatt for running from him. Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Sheamus and Big Show is announced as the main event. The New Day defeated The Lucha Dragons in tag team action. The Prime Time Players were on commentary for the match. Big E got the pinfall for his team. King Barrett defeated Jack Swagger by using the Bull Hammer for the win. After the match, R-Truth did a promo on Barrett to set up their Battleground match that is taking place on the Kickoff Show. Cesaro defeated Rusev in what was said to be a long match that the crowd was really interested in. It sounds like something definitely worth watching. Neville defeated Stardust in a rematch from Raw. There was a video recap of the NXT divas debuting on Raw. There was a promo by Sasha Banks, Naomi and Tamina, who revealed that their group name is "Team B.A.D." that stands for "Best At Dominating." No divas match on Smackdown. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns defeated Big Show and Sheamus by disqualification when Bray Wyatt interfered. It was reportedly a good tag match that go a lot of time leading up to Wyatt interfering. After the match was over, Reigns and Ambrose were able to dominate against the heels. Smackdown ended with Reigns hitting a Superman Punch on Wyatt to give him the advantage going into their Battleground match. A lot of top stars were not on the show since there was no sign of Seth Rollins, John Cena, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, Ryback and of course Brock Lesnar doesn't work Smackdown.
