Jinder Mahal has joined recent Raw foe Seth Rollins in casting doubts over whether or not CM Punk's WWE return will work out well for everyone in the end. The career renaissance man, who shot back into the public consciousness following a memorable segment with The Rock, has "mixed emotions" about it all.

Mahal told WWE India's Instagram page that "the fan in [him] is excited" to see what Punk's capable of. However, he also remembers what CM was like behind the scenes during his first stint in the company, and that's why he's still sitting on the fence when asked to guess whether Punk will be able to behave himself long term.

"Let’s see his attitude, let’s see his reaction. Let’s see if he offers up the opportunities to younger superstars". That's where Jinder is at with Punk's return for now, but he's hopeful that everyone wins out of it and the fans get to see some killer matches.

Putting Punk over in the end, Mahal closed the interview by calling CM "one of the all-time greats". Regardless, he's reserving judgement on his backstage behaviour for a while.
