This WWE star will wrestle for the first time in months on Monday's Raw.

Alexa Bliss will wrestle her first match since November 2020 on Monday's episode of WWE Raw.

WWE announced on SmackDown that Bliss will go one-on-one with reigning Raw Women's Champion Asuka on the show. Alexa last worked in-ring on the 23 November Raw. There, she scored a quick win over former tag-team partner and on screen pal Nikki Cross.

In total, Bliss has also only worked 26 matches since 2019.

This rare wrestling appearance was co-promoted alongside the return of Randy Orton. WWE's short Raw preview said that Randy had recovered from "minor burns" suffered during that skit with Alexa on last week's broadcast, and that he'd be back in the ThunderDome come Monday night.

There's no word yet on whether or not Orton will seek revenge for what happened to him; it's also interesting that Bliss is working a non-title match against Asuka. Could she be lined up as a possible WrestleMania 37 opponent for the 'Empress'?

Alexa hasn't held the Raw Women's Title since 2018, and her recent character shift has breathed new life into her career. She'd be a fine challenger for Asuka.
