WWE.comDo we need Vince back at the moment? Well, not really. The Authority is doing a great job and throwing Vince into the mix wouldnt really add too much. What would be necessary would be for Stephanie and HHH to really start throwing their weight around, even more so than usual. Rigging matches, backstage beat-downs, hired muscle. In fact, Trips Plan B isnt so much Rollins and the briefcase as The Beast Brock Lesnar. Vince returning to simply join The Authority would nullify his role. Having him come back and try and rescue his fathers company from his spoilt daughter and power-mad son-in-law would make much more sense. Hell, if Shanes around, bring him back too. The problem with The Authority storyline is that, similar to Daniel Bryan, no wrestler can actually defeat them. Bryan was decimated by Kane. Cena will no doubt have to face Lesnar. Theres no room for long-term success. The only person who could take them on and win is another manager of the company. A Vince return would certainly get a crowd response. Bar Jericho, the biggest pop on RAW last week was for Vinces music before Damien Sandow appeared. Hes not going to just randomly return though and this is why he needs to be front row-centre from SummerSlam to WrestleMania. Maybe Reigns is his chosen one? Either way, a return for Vince at SummerSlam would be exciting but it would also need to be relevant too.
