4. Hulk Hogan
WWE.comIt almost feels like a lock that Hogan will return to hosting duties at some point so why not SummerSlam? Apart from the Silverdome slip-up, his presence at WrestleMania XXX was received well and it was good to see the old guy back. A similar role at SummerSlam would be great as we all know, post-Bash at the Beach, Hogan likes a good summer swerve. He could do a similar entrance and maybe even Ric Flair could come out so we can see those two Legends exchange barbs before a potential RAW GM battle further down the line. As we saw with WrestleMania, Hogan doesnt actually need to do much to warm the crowd up and get the PPV off to a great start. He is an iconic wrestler and regardless of past indiscretions, is still warmly received by the modern wrestling fan. An opening with the Hulkster, and backstage interactions with John Cena (pep talk) and Lesnar (Out of my way old man), would give a certain relevance to his role.
