No matter how many times Ziggler has been pushed, then shoved back down the card, his heart and effort has never been called into question. He has consistently delivered whether it was in the first match of the night or the eighth, his dedication to the sport readily apparent to anyone watching.

After years of busting his ass, whether in high-profile matches or the opening match, Ziggler has watched others less talented pass him by for reasons that only make sense in political context.

If there was one Superstar who has been to the top and tasted the bitterness of the being at the bottom, who deserves a chance to run with one of the top titles in the promotion, it is The Showoff.

In a company often lauded for putting too much emphasis on look and size, WWE should take a page from the stories of Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart by paying The Showoff back for his unwavering loyalty, undying dedication and undeniable work ethic.
