WWE Super ShowDown 2019: 6 Most Likely Outcomes

4. But It Will Be Better Than Crown Jewel

It goes without saying that none of these grand house shows have been particularly memorable. In fact, they've all been pretty lacklustre.

The Greatest Royal Rumble was headlined by an over-bloated and overpopulated Royal Rumble match with little meaning that dragged on long past its expiration time, while Super Show-Down squandered a ton of opportunities and revisited one of the greatest rivalries of all time when both superstars involved were long past their prime.

Though it's clear that very little effort had been put into creating a worthwhile show, both of them look like freakin' WrestleMania when you compare them to the travesty that was Crown Jewel.

Already marred in controversy before it even took place, the event was undoubtedly the worst pay-per-view of last year, with disappointing matches, baffling booking, Shawn Michaels' unnecessary return from retirement and the now-infamous WWE World Cup tournament (which saw Shane McMahon declared the "best in the world"), it was a colossal failure in every way imaginable.

With that in mind, the creative team doesn't have to work too hard to produce, well, anything better than that. At the very least, Super ShowDown 2019 won't be hampered by a pointless tournament and it actually has a decent (if underwhelming) card so, worst case scenario is that ends up looking like a subpar episode of Raw/SmackDown - and that's better than Crown Jewel.

That being said, they could produce the worst pay-per-view of the year here and it would still be better than Crown Jewel.
