This isn't some anti-Nikki Bella rant to sound cool or trendy. Personally, this writer has enjoyed what Nikki has brought to the table over the years overall. Yep, some of her spots vs. Becky Lynch at Clash In Paris were a little rough, but everyone has an off night. That didn't stop yours truly from going in 2-footed on the match at the time though, being brutally honest.

So, nothing against Bella, but she shouldn’t be beating Stephanie Vaquer here. Vaquer is the present and future of the women’s division on Raw, and it's fair to say her title reign is really just getting going. Cutting her off at the knees on Saturday would be a puzzling decision from the bosses, and it’s hardly like WWE needs a title change for the sake of it when there’s another, more obvious option elsewhere on the lineup if they really decide they need one.

Keep the belt where it is, please. If you're gonna switch gold, then give IC back to Dominik Mysterio.

Stephanie has plenty more to give as champ. She should be riding the crest of a wave all the way through WrestleMania 42 season, not shedding her title against former friend Nikki as part of some quickfire turn then championship challenge. Beating Bella would bolster Vaquer's reign, which is almost certainly WWE's goal with this match.

If Nikki wins out then shouts, "You can look but you can't touch" at Steph, then we're all in for a bumpy ride as Vaquer's push goes clean off the rails heading into the Christmas season. That wouldn't be the best way to go about things at all.
