WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True

Last year, Bronson Reed, Jimmy Uso and Tonga Loa all got hurt during the men's WarGames match. Reed suffered a broken ankle/foot when hitting a splash off the cage through a table, Uso broke his toe after another splash spot, and Loa ended up with a torn bicep after taking several stiff shots from CM Punk with a toolbox. It’d be a nightmare if WWE’s main event pack was blitzed by more injuries this time.

They really don’t want to lose the likes of Punk, Cody Rhodes, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed or Drew McIntyre, because they’re relied upon to carry weekly television. Injuries to Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Logan Paul or The Usos would suck too, of course, but many of them are part-timers who'd get ample time off to heal up anyway. However, something else is looming that'd make injuries particularly unsettling.

'Mania season, baby.

Nobody wants to miss out on spots at Royal Rumble or WrestleMania 42 itself between January-April. Triple H must be kneeling down by his bedside and saying a little prayer to the good lord above that his roster makes it through Survivor Series pain free. OK, maybe not pain free (some of the weapon shots and bumps will be stiffer than the contents of your average shot glass), but defo injury free.

Punk would cut a miserable figure if he was forced to vacate the World Heavyweight Title due to injury, for example. It also wouldn't be a great look for WWE if he was the second World Champ in quick succession (following on from Seth Rollins) to hand the belt back over.
