WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2025: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True

4. A Jacob Fatu Return Gets Lost In The Shuffle

This is pushing it, because Fatu has been benched lately, but he was left laying on the 17 October SmackDown. Drew McIntyre is the most likely culprit, so Jacob could return Jade Cargill style during WarGames and get his hands on the Scot. All going well, that’d lead to some big time matches between the pair, but WWE would need to be careful not to cram too much into WarGames.

There’s already so much going on, and there will be tons of moving parts. A Fatu comeback could get lost in the crowd then, and it might be better if it happens on weekly TV after the PLE. Put it this way: Triple H won't want Jacob's pop to get dampened by a flurry of big spots or killer moves seconds/minutes later. It's important that they let story beats like this breathe rather than rushing through them WCW style.

If Fatu's return happened on Nitro or Thunder in 2000, then Vince Russo and friends would immediately cut to a backstage promo for Ernest 'The Cat' Miller dancing with Ralphus, or something like that. WWE do things a bit differently. They're more measured, but there have been wonky production elements on TV in 2025 as they scramble to reclaim the aura this place had between 2022-2024.

Once Jacob does return to action, he has to be full steam ahead and basking in the spotlight. Meanwhile, McIntyre has to be terrified of the demon sprinting towards him for revenge. That could be tricky to pull off within the framework and context of a WarGames bout housing so many top stars.

Also, please don't have Brock Lesnar shut Fatu down like he's some jobber right after he bashes Drew.
