WWE Teasing HUGE Return

Last night's NXT 2.0 teased some very interesting inter-brand warfare...

WALTER - who has not appeared for his NXT UK brand since dropping the United Kingdom Title to Ilja Dragunov in a seminal war at TakeOver: 36 in August - could well be making his return to TV screens in the near-future.

Riddle is the 'Shaman' to MSK, in a storyline that has unfolded over the course of a couple of months now. On last night's edition of NXT 2.0, Riddle revealed that he is scheduled to support his proteges in their quest to reclaim the Tag Team Titles on next week's edition of the show.

When questioned in a backstage interview segment, Imperium scoffed that, while MSK have a "Shaman," they have a "General" - a clear reference to WALTER. A six-man tag team match, and a quite excellent one at that, was clearly telegraphed across the overlapping segments.

Previously, WALTER's forays across the pond have been temporary; upon signing with WWE in the first place, WALTER was adamant that his family obligations would bind him to Europe.

His personal circumstances have changed, however, which could indicate a more permanent presence in 2021.
