http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=be2KMbHdRY8 When Scott Hall and Kevin Nash upped and left for WCW Vince McMahon in his infinite wisdom decided to give their old, highly successful gimmicks to two other wrestlers. It's unclear whether this was supposed to fool fans or was always intended to be an obvious con on the fans but for a while the man who would become Kane wrestled in a WWE ring (and elsewhere) as Big Daddy Cool Diesel. As you can probably imagine the whole angle fell flat on it's face with the fake Razor lacking all talent and charisma of Scott Hall and Jacobs baring only a passing resemblance to Kevin Nash. Despite this the fake Diesel had much more success than the fake Razor and put in a great showing in the 1997 Royal Rumble. He would later be sent back to USWA to hone his skills and his character but would instead be repackaged once again.
