WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things WWE Got Right

9. Keeping The SmackDown Tag Titles On The Bar

'Da Bar haven't had the best year in 2018. Since being moved over to SmackDown in April's 'Superstar Shakeup', they've either been forgotten about by creative or given some false starts (it's almost like their alliance with Big Show didn't happen, for example). Not to worry, because the year ended well.

WWE resisted the temptation to pen a quick title change at TLC and kept the SmackDown Tag belts on Sheamus and Cesaro.

Hopefully this strong win is a sign of things to come. The Bar are better when they're cast as mega-tough brawlers who can also mix it technically in-ring with the best of them, and they should be kept as far away from childish humour as possible. Let's just say that acting the clown isn't Cesaro's strong suit.

In 2019, we fancy seeing them go up against a fresh team like SAnitY or start mixing it again with Gallows and Anderson. They deserve the chance to do something serious on Tuesday nights rather than play for laughs. Y'know, like they did for the bulk of their Raw run.
