WWE And TNA: 7 Worst Moments Of The Week (Oct 12)

3. Yes, That Was Stupid!

Michael Cole declaring €œThis is hilarious€ to seeing The Gator and El Torito on Raw may have been the biggest lie of his career, as well as the moment he finally gave up and sold his soul to Vince McMahon. If a crowd is chanting "This is stupid!€ then it automatically makes Worst of the Week. What is it that Vince McMahon doesn€™t understand? People do not like his sense of humor. It sucks, and its embarrassingly awful. He is turning off people to his product! People don€™t go to Jimmy Fallon€™s show to chant €œThis is stupid!€ They don€™t pay to see Bruce Springsteen and boo him when he plays a song they don€™t like. Thousands of paying customers vocally declaring they don't like what you are presenting should be a clear sign that you shouldn€™t do it again. McMahon doesn€™t listen. When SmackDown came around, El Torito and €œThe Gator€ both competed in the 15 man tag match. And the man who got the biggest crowd pop (Damien Sandow) was the one who did the job! As an aside, when Steph declared that the match would decide who would be the greatest SmackDown GM in the company€™s history, why didn€™t John Laurinaitis decide to substitute Heath Slater and the short man in an alligator costume for anyone else on the roster? Well, perhaps it was the gator costume that represents the legacy of SmackDown more than anything.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
