NXT is just like WWE in the sense that when it comes to doing an effective go-home show for their big events...well, they fall flat on their face. Sure, there was some good on the latest show like Tyson Kidd cutting a great promo (yes, that Tyson Kidd!) however, we had to sit through some Gobbledy Gooker type nonsense like a poodle losing its hair. Yes, this happened on a wrestling show in 2014. In preparation for his upcoming hair vs. hair match, Enzo Amore went inside of a nice little shop called Hair. Inside this establishment, he found new NXT Diva Carmella (sadly not the former WWE Diva Carmella who is most well-known for being called a C** guzzling gutter s**t live on-air during Raw by Christy Hemme). Amore and Big Cass wanted to find some hair removal cream. Luckily Carmella had a giant bucket of it ready to go. Wacky hijinks ensued as the bucket was spilled right onto a poodle that just happened to be there! Since when did Vince McMahon find the time to start writing NXT skits?
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
