Yes, Vince McMahon loves the Big Show. Ever since the WWF boss made huge money from promoting larger than life giants in the 1980's, he has had an obsession with pushing big men. When Paul Wight's contract with WCW ended in 1999, Vince was salivating at the prospect of picking up this giant. Right away he signed up Wight to a top priced ten year contract. That gives you some indication of just how much Vince liked Show. He was also rushed right into main events, starring as the closing act of Wrestlemania 2000 despite little natural interest in him as a performer. Show later ended up becoming an overweight and lazy in-ring worker, but Vince didn't care, the bigger Show became the better in Vince's mind. Eventually, Show plateaued off completely into mediocrity. That didn't change Vince McMahon's view of his beloved giant, 14 years after debuting we saw Big Show main event Survivor Series 2013 pulling in the worst buyrate in the modern history of the event.
