Out of all the titles up for grabs at WrestleMania, the WWE Divas Title seemed like one of the most likely to change hands. Going in, Charlotte was portrayed as a champion who was about to be overwhelmed due to threats posed by Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.

Things turned out much differently to prior conjecture, the Divas belt wasn't even on the line. Instead, a brand new WWE Women's Championship was the prize, and Charlotte would end up being the one to leave with that shiny new title. This opens up the opportunity for more rematches down the road, because the 'Mania Triple Threat was clearly one of the best matches of the entire pay-per-view.

Either Lynch or Banks seemed like a stick-on to leave the AT&T Stadium as the new titleholder, but their respective - yet somehow inevitable - reigns will have to play the waiting game for now. There's nothing wrong with that, it was just surprising that Charlotte was booked to retain against the odds.
