A fact that may often get overlooked by WWE fans is that although Goldberg joined the company shortly after the collapse of WCW, he only wrestled in WWE for one year. Since he made the jump, however, many fans assume that Goldberg competed against most of WWE's top stars during his first run, but the fact is, he didn't.

Don't get me wrong, Goldberg did face several major superstars during his first run, most notably The Rock, Triple H, and Brock Lesnar. At the same time, one year was not enough time to mix it up with every all-time great that was on the roster in 2003 and 2004.

One of, if not the, biggest of WWE superstars that Goldberg did not square off against was The Undertaker. Mirroring their respective brand assignments of 2016, Goldberg was a RAW wrestler while Undertaker was a SmackDown wrestler in 2003. A match against The Undertaker just wasn't meant to be in '03 or 04, but could be for WrestleMania 33.

Were it to happen in Orlando this year, a Goldberg/Undertaker match would certainly be a big draw, but, like Goldberg/Lesnar at Survivor Series this year, is unlikely to last very long. Still, there's no place more appropriate for match of this magnitude, especially after Goldberg's recent squashing of Brock, than WrestleMania 33.
