At time of writing, The Street Profits are set to defend their belts against Motor City Machine Guns on the "WrestleMania SmackDown" show before 'Mania 41. There's always a chance other tags involved in the division will run in on that, cause a screwy finish and force brand GM Nick Aldis to announce something for Allegiant Stadium over the rest of the weekend.

Fingers crossed on that, 'cause it really blows that one of the best things about SmackDown for months could theoretically be left on the outside looking in. The Profits, MCMG, Pretty Deadly, Loss Garza and DIY have been working their butts off to entertain and get something going for the longest time now, and they don't deserve to be ignored when there's such a logical match staring Triple H right in the face.

He could easily position all five of those squads in a bumper ladder match on the Sunday night. After all, a quick scan of the match lineups for both 'Mania cards reveals that Sunday only has six matches compared to Saturday's seven. Better yet, the World Tag-Team scrap pitting War Raiders vs. New Day has already been confirmed for the Sat. That leaves Sunday free for SmackDown's doubles division.

Hunter could even sprinkle on The Miz and Carmelo Hayes or The Hardys if he wanted to relive WrestleMania 33's surprise pop from 2017. Diminishing returns, be damned - people would go wild for something like that. Alternatively, delete (ahem) Matt and Jeff, and shine the spotlight on WWE full-timers who have been ripping it up on telly.
