WWE WrestleMania 42: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

6. Sunday Sees In-Ring "ManiaHausen"!

WWE Raw Danhausen
WWE

Danhausen has done a wonderful job of recovering following his woeful debut at Elimination Chamber. However, there are only 6 matches on the Sunday compared to 7 on the Saturday at this year's 'Mania, so unless WWE plans to add another in then that’ll leave some time (on paper) for a segment.

Sure, it could be the usual Hall Of Fame stuff on stage, or it might be Danhausen cutting a promo and doing some supernatural tricks. He’s screwed if it’s the latter, especially if that brings WrestleMania to a screeching halt just to waste time. Learn your lesson here, WWE.

"ManiaHausen" would struggle if it's on Sunday's format sheets. At most, Danhausen should be showing up during Saturday's opening 6-man tag-team effort to curse IShowSpeed (or something silly like that). Or, maybe he'll appear in some backstage skits to promote something alongside another off the wall character such as R-Truth.

Neither of those spots would eat up too much time, and therein lies the problem/worry: Danhausen getting a full blown entrance akin to Chamber, then grabbing a mic and awkwardly delighting in saying nothing of note would kill all of 'Mania 42's momentum; keeping the energy levels high should be a mission statement this weekend.

WWE's writers are starting to get into the groove with this spooky sideshow gimmick, but let's not trade logic for reckless ambition. It'd be much better if any remaining time for Sunday went to another match rather than some going nowhere talking heads skit no-one asked for in the first place.
