WWE Wrestlepalooza 2025: 8 Nightmares That Could Come True

4. Paul Heyman Screws Seth Rollins

That dastardly schemer Paul Heyman was laid out by Roman Reigns at Clash In Paris and has been conspicuous by his absence recently. He's expected to come back to TV/PLE imminently, but...in what kind of role? The Vision looked fully-fleshed when walking through the parking lot on Monday's Raw. There wasn't actually a gap where Heyman would fit, and that raises an interesting question.

Is Paul E about to exit stage left for a faction he helped put together already?!

Heyman has a lot of history with Punk, so he could cost Rollins and Lynch the match then explain afterwards that he’s annoyed at Seth for bringing Becky in without his say so. No, it wouldn’t really work, which is why it’s a nightmare scenario. Also, Heyman already screwed Punk over to side with Rollins, so helping him would just confuse matters and spit right in the fact of what happened back at WrestleMania 41.

This wouldn't fly with people even if WWE's announcers allege that Paul accidentally left Seth ripe for the Punk pickings. There's actually no need to have CM pin Seth at all. If anything, AJ Lee beating Becky Lynch is the way to go in this mixed tag so she's lined up for a Women's IC Title shot and Lynch is running scared some more.

There's no need for Paul to get involved at all here. It's up to WWE creative to figure out how Heyman fits in now that Becks is part of The Vision. Surely they thought of that before springing her surprise at Clash In Paris, right?
