WWE: 10 Reasons Triple H Is Going To Make A Great Owner
5. His Successful Hall Of Fame Negotiations
For over twenty years Bruno Sammartino had been an staunch critic of the WWE and the increasingly risky content it was producing. It therefore came as a shock when just over a year ago the Living Legend was announced as a WWE Hall of Fame inductee. Shortly after it became known that it was in fact HHH who was responsible for negotiating Sammartinos comeback and putting his mind to rest about the appropriateness of the product. As arguably the biggest draw of all time and the king of WWEs home stadium Madison Square Garden his induction gave the Hall Of Fame a much missed sense of integrity. One year after Sammartino accepted his induction into the Hall of Fame, HHH pulled off any other coup. To say The Ultimate Warrior left the WWE on bad terms would be a massive understatement. When a company goes out of its way to release a DVD solely for the purpose of ruining your reputation you know things have turned sour. The relationship between Vince McMahon and Warrior had seemed damaged beyond repair. Yet just over a year ago in stepped HHH and within a few weeks Warrior was announced as the headline act of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014. It was a touching moment to see old wounds patched up when Warrior took to the stage to accept the honour; all the more poignant considering his death less just a few days later. Owen Hart and Randy Macho Man Savage are the two remaining names that Hall Of Fame negotiations had been deemed impossible. With HHH involved, suddenly its looks to be only a matter of time till they take their place amongst the all-time greats.
