What Happened: Ronda Rousey invades the final PPV of the year just as she did the first, allowing Asuka to sneak to the top of the ladder to claim her first WWE title.

2018 ended in almost the exact same way it kicked off, and it was no bad thing. The year was book-ended by euphoric Asuka victories, each the result of landmark moments for WWE's women's division. Like in January, TLC's outcome left fans with a renewed sense of optimism. We'll see how that goes.
