What Happened: The substitute ref inexplicably declares a 'no contest' in Roman Reigns' and Braun Strowman's supposed 'no rules' Hell in a Cell battle, after Paul Heyman maces useless designated official Mick Foley to allow a returning Brock Lesnar to run rampage.

It was another night when logic took a leap off the nearest ledge. Though Brock Lesnar's unexpected comeback was temporarily exciting, it directly led to WWE's most idiotic finish of the year. How on Earth can a match with no apparent rules be declared a no contest - and especially from nothing more than a simple beat-down? The show went off the air leaving more questions than answers - most of them being "what the heck?"

Benjamin was born in 1987, and is still not dead. He variously enjoys classical music, old-school adventure games (they're not dead), and walks on the beach (albeit short - asthma, you know). He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
