Where Is He Now: Independents, Businessman

JTG was something of a living meme during his last couple years in WWE. His last taste of notoriety in WWE came in mid-2010 after the breakup of Cryme Tyme, after which he faded to the background. JTG became a pure jobber, winning one match in 2012 and losing all his 2013 contests. The joke became that every year when WWE announced their spring releases, JTG was never listed, as if he was invisible or forgotten to WWE brass. In fact, he didn’t have a match during his last nine months with the company.

But JTG’s number was called in 2014, and he and former tag partner Shad Gaspard hit the independent circuit, where they still periodically perform as Cryme Tyme, most recently for Dallas-based VIP Wrestling in January 2020. The duo have won tag titles in VIP and Superstars of Wrestling Federation.

JTG also is an entrepreneur, founding a beard care company. He also appeared in the sixth and final installment of the cult film series, Sharknado.
