15. Mark Canterbury (Henry O Godwinn)
Wrestling under the name of Henry O Godwin whilst in the WWE, Canterbury was mainly utilized in the tag team division at the time. Seeing the contest as something that might help give him a push, he entered the first round stepping up against Bradshaw. Losing the match on points, Canterbury left the WWE soon after.
Later in 1998 he would require major surgery on his spine due to an earlier injury sustained against the Legion Of Doom. Not long after he retired from wrestling due to his injuries, although he did return to the ring for a short spell in the mid-2000s.
In 2011 Canterbury was involved in a car accident. He suffered two punctured lungs, thirteen broken ribs and a broken leg. In 2016 Canterbury was one of several wrestlers who filed a lawsuit against the WWE, claiming the company concealed the risks of brain trauma injuries sustained whilst performing. The case was dismissed in 2018.
Although he has officially retired, he still makes the odd appearance on the indie circuit. He currently resides in his home state of West Virginia, where he has been inducted into the state's Hall Of Fame.
