13 Mind-Blowing WWE WrestleMania 42 Predictions You NEED To Know
Cody Rhodes said WrestleMania 42 will be an all-timer. It certainly could be historic.
It's predictions time, people.
WrestleMania 42 is nearly upon us, and that means everyone will be playing guessing games over exactly what WWE has in store come this very weekend. Will 'Mania 42 be a thriller like 40 was? Will it dampen the biggest highs from 41 and end up being pretty darn boring? Or, is Triple H's roster about to drop one of 2026's best surprises?!
We're predicting a lot in this article: There are grand returns, incredible displays of bravery, heel turns, babyface turns, factions coming to an end, retirement announcements, title changes and...WWE failing to learn their lesson from Travis Scott last year. Nope, the rapper won't be in the house for this WrestleMania, but the spectre of his presentation just might be.
Previous articles in the run up to the show have looked at everything that must happen and all of the nightmares that could well come true in Las Vegas. Now, it's time to properly volley some predictions into the ether and really dig into everything the biggest PLE weekender going has to offer.
Not all of it will float your boat, shall we say. You'll read some and want to volley this writer into outer space instead! That's the beauty of this stuff though - one fan's trash is another's treasure, and all that. So, enough dilly-dallying. Here's all the guesswork before WWE lets fans tuck into the grandest stage's delights.

13. Alexa Bliss Turns On Charlotte Flair
It's a wee bit shocking that WWE hasn't gone here long before now, isn't it? Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were surely on tap to be a short-lived tag-team at best, but they've achieved 2 distinctly sweet goals: Making Charlotte legitimately popular with the audience and giving the women's tag division some much-needed legacy star power weekly.
Everything good must come to an end, however. That's why the prediction here involves a split between these so-called besties at 'Mania. The sting is that it's actually Alexa who'll stab her partner in the back and bring their Women's Tag Title quest to a screeching halt. Why? Well, you'll just have to wait until the follow up edition of SmackDown for the answer to that question.
It'll take Flair around a week to wonder why she didn't take the plunge first anyway, because most would expect that it's the 'Queen' who'd go into business for herself eventually. Nope, this detective work says Bliss; she's successfully managed to get Charlotte's guard down by being cute, but Alexa doesn't want to be cute...she wants to be vicious and let her inner bitch roam free.
Bliss might also think that it's only a matter of time before Flair looks out for her own ends too. 'I had to do it, Charlotte. You don't keep anybody around for too long!'. That's the kind of story we're dealing with here. That twist turn will pave the way for The Bella Twins to win the belts themselves, assuming Nikki is healthy enough to do so of course.
