The only thing worse than a supervillain is a supervillain who can control or is made of Kryptonite. The first baddie powered by this emerald rock was a chimpanzee called Toto. After he was exposed to Kryptonite, the chimp mutated into a giant ape called Titano. Titano is a worthy adversary to Superman since he can shoot Kryptonite lasers from its eyes.

During the late 1950s, Superman regularly fought a uranium-powered cyborg called Metallo. Eventually, Metallo replaced the uranium in his body with Kryptonite and took on the nickname, The Man with the Kryptonite Heart.

Several baddies have taken on the name, Kryptonite Man, since they can spew radiation from their bodies which is lethal to Superman.

Once, Zod infected Supes with Kryptonite, causing him to develop cancerous growths, which had to be removed from his body. These tumours mutated into a crystallised beast called Kancer that had a body completely covered in Kryptonite.

Lex Luthor created a group of Kryptonite-powered villains called The Last Line to take down Superman. It was composed of Bruiser, Hotshot, Sekhmet, Brannon, and a clone of Doomsday laced with Kryptonite. (Because Doomsday wasn't already overpowered enough).
