10 Avengers Who Should Join The MCU Next
6. Ms. Marvel
It seems almost inevitable that one of Marvel's most popular new heroes will make an appearance in the MCU at some point.
The character was introduced in 2013 and has had a meteoric rise to fame, becoming one of Marvel's most recognisable heroes, a member of the Avengers and the leader of her own team the Champions.
Part of what makes the character stand out is her bizarre powers. Kamala Khan is an inhuman (statistically there had to be at least one who doesn't suck) with the power to stretch and morph her body at will. She can stretch through tight spaces, 'embiggen' herself to the size of a house, or just slap villains out of the sky with an oversized hand.
A bigger part of what has made the character so popular though is her backstory. Kamala's struggles trying to balance her career as a small-time superhero with her life as a Muslim teen is refreshingly original and sets her apart from most other heroes.
Now, while some corners of the Internet may froth at the mouth at the mere mention of the word, more diversity is definitely something the MCU could do with. After all, the most common complaint about Marvel's movies is how similar they all feel to each other. Including heroes from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds is a great way to counter that and ensure that Marvel movies don't grow stale over the coming years.
