10 Avengers Who Should Join The MCU Next
5. Moondragon
Moondragon may be one of the Avengers' more obscure members, but the MCU is no stranger to thrusting lesser known characters into the spotlight. Plus, she has ties to both of the MCU's main teams.
Heather Douglas is actually the daughter to the Guardian of the Galaxy Drax (who in the comics is really a human in an alien body... it's a whole thing). While she was seemingly killed by Thanos along with her mother, Heather was actually saved by Thanos' father Mentor and trained to unlock her latent psychic powers.
Moondragon then went back to Earth and disguised herself as a villain with the terrible/amazing name Madame MacEvil in order to find someone strong enough to defeat Thanos. When the Avengers learned her true motivation, she joined the team in order to fight the Mad Titan.
She then left to adventure in space and years later joined the Guardians of the Galaxy. Most notably, she reunited with her father and had a relationship with the daughter of the original Captain Marvel, Phylla-Vell.
Infinity War will finally see the Guardians and the Avengers team up in the MCU. Throwing Moondragon into the mix as well could create a more permanent link between the two teams and help keep the Guardians as a big focus of Phase Four.
