10 Most Awesome Characters To Have Worn A Power Ring

9. Cyborg Superman

Hank Henshaw may be primarily a Superman villain, but he caused a lot of grief with the Green Lantern Corps. He had already killed many Green Lanterns back in the €˜90s and stole their rings, but it wasn€™t until the Sinestro Corps War that he showed off his ring wielding skills. Henshaw was rescued during the Sinestro Corps assault on Oa, and rebuilding himself a new body, he became part of the Corps leadership team, consisting of Sinestro, the Anti-Monitor, Superboy Prime and a Parallax-possessed Kyle Rayner. Oh, and Henshaw didn€™t just wear one yellow ring. He wore 10! Henshaw was a beast with those rings, tearing through the Green Lanterns and Earth's superheroes with ease. However, he only had one goal: to die. He struck up an agreement with the Anti-Monitor that he would be killed after helping the Sinestro Corps. Ironically, Henshaw met his demise not from the Anti-Monitor, but at the hands of the Green Lantern Corps. Trapped behind an emerald forcefield, Henshaw tearfully said thank you before an explosion meant to incinerate the Anti-Monitor tore through him. Henshaw€™s death wouldn€™t last long, as his Manhunter servants found his head, reanimated it and rebuilt his body. He would reappear later to harness the power of the Alpha Lanterns, but he would never unleash the same type of ferocity that he did with those yellow rings.
