In Amazing Spider-Man #621, Spider-Man confronted the villainous Mister Negative and his sharply-dressed henchman in a building. In typical Spidey style, the Webbed Wonder talked big and told Mister Negative he had him figured out. He knew how his superpowers worked and figured that they were no big deal and that hitting him hard enough would defeat him just like any other villain. Of course, that didn't work, as Negative casually blocked Spidey's shot with the palm of his hand, before showing Spidey the "upper limit" of his strength and retaliating with a casual palm shot of his own that knocked Spider-Man out of the building's window and several stories down to the floor beneath, rendering him briefly unconscious.
